We need your help if we are to accomplish our goal of rescuing Weimaraners!
If you cannot adopt a Weimaraner, there are still many ways you can help them:

Volunteer
We are always in need of volunteers to help at events, transport dogs, conduct interviews, do dog evaluations, transport supplies, distribute marketing materials, etc.  If you are interested in helping in any way, please fill out a volunteer application.

Donate
All of our funds come from donations, fundraisers and adoption fees. The majority of our funds are spent on vet bills but we also have the expense of supplies, dog food, kenneling, training and marketing materials.  If you cannot make a monetary donation, consider contributing some material items from our wish list. The TSWR is a non-profit organization and your donations are tax deductible. Donate now!

Foster
We desperately need foster homes to provide temporary housing and care for dogs until permanent homes can be found.  We ask the foster home to work on basic obedience, however all vet care is taken care of at the expense of the rescue. Fostering allows us to get to know the dog so we can better determine what kind of permanent home would suit the dog best.

If you could open your home to a rescued Weim for a few weeks (a minimum of two, and usually a maximum of 6), please fill out our Volunteer Application. The more foster homes we have the more dogs we can help.  For more information about fostering, visit our FAQs page.

Adopt

We are looking for individuals who understand the needs of this breed and are ready to make a commitment to the dog they adopt.  These dogs demand constant attention and require lots of exercise. We carefully screen adoption applicants for suitability. Before deciding to adopt a Weimaraner, please carefully research the breed. See Weimaraner Q&A for additional information.
