We don't like Dakota, we LOVE HER! She has transitioned so nicely into our familyand has quickly become a treasured member. She continues to struggle with her food begging but it has gotten tremendously better. She is in great shape and has slimmed down and muscled up since we have adopted her. Regen and Dakota are quite happy providing each other with countless hours of exercise. The kids love her, especially our middle child. He calls her "Makota" and she lays in his bed at night until he falls asleep.
Update on Dakota Feb 2013. She is in great shape. She and our other weim love each other, play well together and can often be found snuggled up together with us at the foot of our bed at night. She has not had any episodes of incontinence or seizures in over 9 months. She is no longer on any medication. She is a perfect fit for our fun filled family. She has also improved tremendously on her table manners. She no longer jumps for food on the counter and the garbage cans are no longer an issue. Of course she stays close to our young daughter as she can always be counted on for a treat here and there. While we are quite content with what we have now, we often look at the fosters and would like the apportunity to help. Our experience has been wonderful. Thank you.
