Volunteer Application

Our organization is run exclusively by volunteers.  If you are interested in volunteering or fostering, please fill out the form below.

Filling out the form simply puts you on our volunteer email list.  When the rescue needs help of any kind an email blast will go out to all volunteers.  If you are able to help simply reply to the email, if you are unable to help just disregard the email.  Please email our volunteer coordinator at info@tristateweimrescue.org should you have any questions regarding volunteer or fostering opportunities.

If you are a current volunteer please login to access our volunteer forms and resources.  Please note, no volunteer or board member of this organization is compensated in any way.  Only approved reimbursements with regard to expenses for the dogs will be considered.

    Fostering is very rewarding but its also a commitment. You must be willing to work with your foster dog in order to make his transition into a new home easier. Foster periods are unpredictable, when possible we will give you an estimated amount of time your foster dog will be with you.

    I will abide by the mission, rules, policies and programs of the Rescue while I am a volunteer. I agree to always conduct myself in a manner which reflects the ideals of the Tri State Weimaraner Rescue.

Neither the Rescue nor anyone associated with the Rescue is liable to me for any injuries, damages, liabilities, losses, judgments, cost or expenses whatsoever, which I might suffer or sustain in connection with the performance of my volunteer duties with the Rescue. I will indemnify, defend and hold the Rescue or anyone associated with the Rescue harmless from any claims, lawsuits, injuries, damages, losses, costs or expenses whatsoever, sustained by any companion animal or any other person in connection with my volunteer work with the Rescue.
